Introducing Enactus
Enactus is a not-for-profit organisation which helps to train and support students to master and implement entrepreneurial programmes creating a lasting impact for communities. Right now, students around the world are working with Enactus in partnership with their universities to change the world today for the better. Using the skills they develop; these students can become pioneering agents of change; next gen leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability and passion to change the world in a positive way. Enactus currently inspires and empowers students in 1,800 universities in 36 countries around the world. This includes 10 University level institutions in Ireland including TU Dublin, IADT, UL, UCC, MTU, DCU, UCD, and WIT wants to be involved.
You will join a network of innovative, creative, and passionate people; people who want to develop new skills and use these skills to create a positive and sustainable change for people in our community.
Enactus Ireland, through the Growth Hub at WIT, will provide training in project development, entrepreneurship and leadership skills and other critical skills.
Enactus Ireland partners include KPMG, Coca Cola, Aer Lingus, Enterprise Ireland, KBC, Unilever. Enactus Ireland’s partner organisations offer internship opportunities specifically for Enactus students in Ireland.
Enactus Ireland National Competition: every year Enactus students from across Ireland gather to showcase the impact of their programmes. Each team’s project will be judged by a panel of Ireland’s top business leaders. The winning team becomes Enactus Ireland National Champion and will represent Ireland at the Enactus World Cup.
Social Enterprise
Enactus Ireland is calling on the students at South East Technological University to Enact their Social Impact and consider a career as a social entrepreneur.
